Happy π Day!
(March 14th at 1:59 pm = 3.14159 = π)

Pi Day is a special day in the lives of many-a-nerd. Just like normal people celebrate Valentine's Day or National Pancake Day, nerds around the world will gather and join hands in the shape whose ratio of its circumference to its
diameter is the most revered mathematical constant in the known universe. (Source: WikiHow)

MATH GEEKS of the world,
Unite! Rejoice! Dance! (okay, may not dance. that might be too traumatic for the rest of the world.) Frolic! Today is our day! Pi Day! Today, no one can stop us from basking in the glory of our unique GEEK-ness. Today, we are “COOL”. (please note the quotations "cool". not the actual cool. lets not get ahead of ourselves here.) Today the rest of the world is forbidden from making fun of us. (note: rest of the world, today you are forbidden from making fun of us. FORBIDDEN, I say!) So, make the most of this glorious day and celebrate yourselves, Mathematics, and the wonderful relationship between the two!
Sincerely,
A fellow MATH GEEK

Dear Delicate and to fellow math geeks,

Hilarious. and and of course very "cool." So how just it feel to be on the cool side for once! Anyhoo, congrats on being able to celebrate your geekiness and math pride. Now good luck finding a "normal" man (or woman).

Sincerely,
Math-hater, geek-lover;)

ok so i'm not really that cool either apparently, because I CAN'T SPELL! I meant to say,"So how does it feel..."
and for clarification, I meant finding a "normal" man or woman "partner"!
alas, maybe I should start taking math lessons from delicate. Then maybe both of us can revel in our geekdom!

hey delicate, are you enjoying talking to yourself? well, desperate times call for desperate measures, if no one else will talk to us then we will just have to amuse ourselves. and i love that you were being all pc with the "or woman" comment, but were you trying to tell me something? you should know by now, especially after the SAAN conference, that you and i are both "hunting husbands" not wives or partners.

Fellow geek and Husband-hunter,

Check out this story on Yahoo today. This guy apparently recited 8,784 digits of Pi. Now sit down before you read this. Shockingly, he's Indian!!!! And I thought spelling bees were the new "cool" think. I guess you math geeks are trying to take over the world! Too bad he's young one. Otherwise he could have had some potential in our hunting department;). Here's the article:
